Happy 4th of July!
In Scotland there are no BBQs planned for the holiday. No fireworks. No giant watermelon. No red, white and blue jello gelatine desserts or blueberry and strawberry coolwhip cakes. Not even those cupcakes that are sort of airbrushed for the occasion...the same cupcakes that are airbrushed green for St. Patricks Day, red for Valentines Day, red AND green for Christmas, or blue, pink and yellow for Easter.
They're terribly creative at your local Piggly Wiggly, WinnDixie, or BILO bakery/deli department. Where else could one pick up a tray of airbrushed cupcakes?
Please excuse me, I have digressed from my original sentiment.

Rock on Second Continental Congress for unanimously adopting the Declaration of Independence.
Rock on for signing representatives of the fine state of South Carolina: Edward Rutledge, Thomas Heyward Jr., Thomas Lynch Jr., and Arthur Middletone. I would be remiss if I were not to give a shout out to the Reverend John Witherspoon, representative from New Jersey. Rev. Witherspoon was the minister of a church here in Paisley. He was Scottish and co-founder of Princeton University. You really should read over the Declaration of Independence, it's important.
